Enjoy a Smooth Home Buying Process with Jordan Homes 

Are you ready to start visualizing your new life in a new, beautifully conceptualized Jordan Home? If so, our goal is to make your home buying journey efficient, enjoyable and, of course, exciting!

This will be one of the biggest decisions you’ll ever make and we will be alongside and supporting you every step of the way.


READY, SET, GO! 

1.At the Starting Line

You’ve selected your dream home, signed the contract and picked your structural options. Now let Jordan Homes handle the red tape – we obtain your home’s permit application and pull the permit. This stage takes about 30-60 days after which we schedule your preconstruction meeting and then the real fun begins!

2. Jump to the Lead

Now the fun begins! After you’ve picked your perfect floorplan and ideal home site, it’s time to personalize, visualize and select your new home’s finishes. But, rest assured, you are not on your own; Jordan Homes’ design consultant will guide you through the process of selecting options and picking finishes tailored to your lifestyle and appreciated by your friends and family.

3. On the Straightaway

Prior to breaking ground, your sales agent will schedule a preconstruction meeting with your Jordan Homes builder at the home site to go over your selections and to answer questions, review decisions and discuss the building process so there will be no surprises.

4. Picking up the Pace

Things are really getting exciting. It’s now time to put a shovel in the ground! Construction typically begins about two to three weeks after your preconstruction meeting. During the construction process, your Jordan Homes team – your sales agent and builder – will be available by phone or email for ANY questions/concerns you may have. We are there to guide you through the process every step of the way.

5. Rounding the curve

Once your home’s structure is up with all electrical, plumbing and air conditioning lines installed, your Jordan Homes' builder or sales agent will schedule a pre-drywall meeting to go over everything that has been installed up to that point. Our goal is to make sure everything is done to your specifications, to best suit your needs and lifestyle!

6. On Track and In the Lead

Jordan Homes knows that it is our attention to detail that makes a customer fall in love with their home – finishes, lighting, flooring, etc. are just as important to you as your home’s inherent structural integrity. At this stage, we are meticulously installing all of the beautiful finishes and design elements you have selected and paying special attention to the minute details that will make everyone (including us) proud of your new home!

7. Finish Line in Sight

About 30 days before your home’s completion you will be provided an official closing date. We are almost there! It is important to ensure that your mortgage is ready and that any necessary final documents are provided in preparation for closing.

8. Crossing the Finish Line

After your home has passed our rigorous quality control process, it will be ready for our “pre-closing walkthrough” where we’ll meet to address any of your concerns. This meeting ensures that we are all on the same page and assures that you are 100 percent satisfied with your home before closing.

9. You’re the Winner!

You have crossed the finish line and own your beautiful, new dream home built by Jordan Homes! On closing day, you will meet with your builder who will officially present you with your new, finished home and highlight all its lovely features. The Jordan Homes “New Home Manual” will be provided; it contains important information about your home, including its warranty and recommended maintenance.
